About Town Moms takes you on historical neighborhood walks, private museum tours and cultural adventures with your child. Our tours educate you, bring variety to your week and introduce you to a great group of moms. Most tours are designed for mothers with children who still enjoy riding in a stroller.

Keshia Case, M.A., the founder of About Town Moms, has been in the museum industry since 1994. Keshia received her Master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Art History with a specialty in Richmond Architectural History.

In Richmond, she has worked with the Virginia Historical Society, Library of Virginia, Richmond History Center and Virginia Commonwealth University while researching the city’s past. Keshia is currently working on two publications: "Richmond Then & Now" and "A House Befitting: The Architectural Evolution of Virginia’s Executive Mansion."

Keshia has extensive experience organizing children’s educational programs for various museums. However, it was not until she became a parent herself that she realized a mother's need to visit cultural establishments in a comfortable, child-friendly environment. Keshia developed About Town Moms for this purpose. Mothers can now enjoy educational and cultural adventures with their children.

Ms. Case is also the TeaMap Coordinator for Virginia.
